Homework

Homework help: Here is a video to help at home while we use operations with fractions in the classroom. It includes "How To" and even some practice problems! Be sure to share this with your family!

Ms. T's homework policy: believe homework is a chance for families to work together to review and reinforce what students have learned in school. Homework provides an opportunity for students to develop responsibility and time-management skills. While I want parents to be involved with their child’s homework routine, it is the responsibility of the student to be sure homework is completed and turned in on time.

In case of illness, please contact the front office at
(707) 961-2865 to request homework for the missed day(s). In the case of prolonged illness or extenuating circumstances, please contact Ms. Thompson at pthompson@fbusd.us. An accommodation can be made to provide students more time to complete homework in these situations.

Homework is graded on completion. Late homework is occasionally accepted for partial credit at the teacher’s discretion. Students with missing homework assignments will be asked to complete assignments during a study hall period.

Students should be spending roughly 45 minutes a night on homework (including the 20 minutes of reading for UA.) If you believe your child needs less or more challenging homework, please contact me.
