Universal Access, or leveled reading, ensures all students have instruction at their appropriate reading level. Students are placed in a reading level according to SRI score, benchmark scores, and teacher discretion.
All students have 20 minutes of reading homework every weeknight accompanied by a reading log. If students are absent for more than one day, please contact the front office at (707) 961-2865 to request
missed work.
Students in my UA class are expected to fill out their own reading log every day. If a student misses his or her reading log two nights in a row, that student will be asked to call home to ask a parent or guardian for a reminder.
